Yes. Every VacayNanny nanny is vetted through identity verification, background checks, and reference screening before joining our platform. Many hold childcare qualifications and valid First Aid certificates. We only match you with nannies we would trust with our own children.
Can I book a nanny last-minute?

Absolutely. We understand travel plans change quickly. We do our best to accommodate same-day and last-minute bookings depending on availability in your area. For best results, we recommend booking at least 24–48 hours in advance.
What if my nanny doesn't show up?

Your peace of mind is our priority. In the rare case of a no-show, we will immediately arrange a replacement nanny, or offer a full refund if a replacement is not available in time. You are never left stranded.
What if my child doesn't get along with the nanny?

It happens, and we handle it. If within the first hour your child is genuinely distressed, contact us on WhatsApp immediately and we'll arrange a replacement at no extra charge. Your child's comfort is our first priority.
What can the nanny help with?

We care for children of all ages, from newborns to older kids. If you have specific needs such as newborn care or multiple children, just mention it during booking and we'll match you with the most suitable nanny.
Do you serve international travellers?

Yes, many of our clients are visiting from abroad and want trusted childcare while they explore or relax. We make it easy and safe for international families to enjoy their trip knowing their children are in great hands.
How do I pay?

We accept M-Pesa and card payments. Payment is required to confirm your booking. All pricing is agreed upfront with no hidden fees or surprises at the door.
Can I cancel or change my booking?

Yes, we know travel plans shift. Cancel up to 24 hours before your booking for a full refund. Within 24 hours is charged at 50%. Full cancellation terms are shown clearly during booking so there are no surprises.
Can I book more than one nanny?

Yes. If you have a large family or want one nanny per child, you can request up to 2 nannies directly through our booking form, each billed at the same tier rate. Need 3 or more? WhatsApp us and we'll arrange it personally.
